MAPD is a travel documentary series whose message is to seize the day every day. I'm a firm believer that traveling is just as much a spiritual journey as it is a physical one, and MAPD is my attempt to savor as much of the world's splendor as my limited time on this earth allows. Life is short friends, and the harsh reality is that everyone dies but not everyone truly lives. MAPD explores the themes of pure adventure, exploration, and cultural immersion, and was designed to dispel common misconceptions of traveling as a young black man.

While MAPD is of course also a play on the word "Mapped," the name is inspired by a quote from a man named Arsene Wenger who once said "the only way to deal with death is to transform everything that precedes it into art." I found it a beautifully fitting mantra to live by, especially as it pertains to traveling, and from it my vlog was born!
